  • Year 1982, Delhis first Magic Conference organized. Now, after 25 years of serving Magic, IBM is celebrating its Silver Jubilee Year. Magicians who participated in year 1982 conference will be honored.

INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN JADU UTSAV 2007
India International Magic convention.

  • Delhi is among the most vibrant cities of the world having glorious heritage and cultural traditions. Fairs, Festivals and Utsav have unique way of presenting the culture glimpse of a region. Delhi beautifully reflects its every culture that has inspired Indian Brotherhood of Magicians, one of the oldest Society of Magicians supporting and working for Magicians, is organize JADU UTSAV. The utsav being held after the Grand success it achieved in year 2005, is scheduled to be held on 8-9th September 2007. The venue is same where IBM organized its first Convention 25 years back. The objective of this Magic Festival is to uplift the ancient dying art of Magic and that is what our aim is Brotherhood among Magicians.

WHAT'S NEW IN JADU UTSAV

  • Every state or city has Conferences. Magicians participate, dealers demonstrate and sell, performers are paid for Gala Shows and Conference concludes. This year, to break this stereotype image of Indian conference, I.B.M. has gone a step further and added new feathers in its Magic hat.
  • Inauguration by our Patron, Great Magician P.C. Sorcar (Jr.)
  • Group of Magicians are invited from Europe (France). They will perform, give lectures about Indian Magic and Foreign Magic and share tricks.
  • Agenda for the conference is to discuss about Magic Trust -A venture by IBM to support and help needy artists.
  • To Declare Magic as fine Art. Entertainment Tax on Magic should be waived off.
  • To discuss about problems magicians facing in their respective states with Hon'ble Ministers.

    JADU SHIROMANI AWARD

  • Since ages, IBM have been honoring Magicians for their efforts to uplift this dying art. Many star and senior Magicians have already been honored with this prestigious award previously. This year too, Five Magicians of India fame will be awarded with Jadu Shiromani Award for their contribution to Magic and Magicians.
